Cornell Cares Day is an annual, worldwide alumni/student service day that connects Cornellians to serve in their local communities. CCMO participates each year.

We kept the holiday joy alive as we enjoyed origami, planting paperwhite bulbs, puzzles/games, men's group discussion, group conversations, a giant crossword puzzle and a sing-a-long with residents at Sunrise Senior Living, an assisted living community in Shrewsbury.

Volunteers were alumni, students, friends and families -- totaling 32 Cornellians. We sang the Cornell Alma Mater, of course, accompanied by Erik Bernstein '87 on acoustic guitar, along with his daughter Brooke.

 Volunteers gathered before the event for lunch at Cornellian-owned Albarino Tapas, at The Grove in Shrewsbury.
