Spring Planting at OASIS Farm Center
May 21, 2016

This year's Cornell Cares Day was held at the OASIS Farm Center, a vocational training facility for young adults with autism, in Middletown.

From left: Rob Poggioli (farm manager), Judy Reichard, Peggy Milliken '84, Bruce Wagner '64, Art Kretchman MBA '85, George Schildge '60, Janie Schildge, Cliff Fishman '70. Missing: Annie O'Rourke '84 and her son.

Cornell volunteers worked at the OASIS Farm Center, a vocational training facility for young adults with autism, in Middletown, NJ. At this event, we  prepared a vegetable farm field for planting, doing light manual work such as digging garden beds, breaking up natural debris, weeding and spreading mulch. After work at the firm, we enjoyed a picnic lunch.
