Topic: "The Second Term Jinx: Can President Obama Avoid It?"
Just days before president Obama's![]() Professor Polenberg is the Marie Underhill Noll Professor of History Emeritus and is a Stephen H. Weiss Presidential Fellow. He is also a man, and scholar, of diverse cultural interests. While not a prognosticator, Prof. Polenberg expects that President Obama will have a more successful second term than some of his predecessors, notably Presidents Nixon, Clinton and Reagan. Over 50 Cornellians enjoyed the talk, socializing and a served dinner. |
