CCMO celebrated Cornell Cares Day at Deep Cut Gardens Open House in Middletown, NJ on Saturday, June 7th. This annual worldwide event connects Cornell alumni, parents, and students engaging them in hands-on service projects within their local communities.

Led by CCMO Director Polly Chu, a small group of alumni volunteers came together to make a positive impact.

Our participation ran from 11am to 3pm. CCMO staffed visitor tables and provided lunch. Unfortunately, the weather was rainy and few of those registered attended. We'll be better prepared to handle this event when rain is in the forecast. Nonetheless, we appreciated the rich history and beauty of Deep Cut Gardens.
