Cornell Charter Day Celebration

As part of the Cornell Charter Day Weekend, we watched a
livestream of a panel of Cornell Presidents discuss The Future of Higher
Education. Presidents Rhodes (moderator), Skorton,
Lehman and Rawlings were joined by Harvard President Drew
Gilpin Faust and, briefly, by Cornell President-Elect Beth Garrett. This event was one of the highlights of Charter Day Weekend: A Festival of Ideas and Imagination, April 24-27. The weekend included a series of events on the Ithaca campus -- academic, musical, athletic, theatrical and more. The weekend culminated in a formal ceremony and video premiere to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Cornell University Charter. |
